Connect People, Not Conflicts.

WhisperLayer is built on a simple belief: people come here to connect, create, and share what matters to them. Our Harmony Score system helps make sure the content that brings people together is easier to find.

Our Philosophy

We do not believe in censorship. We believe in ranking. Every piece of content on WhisperLayer receives a Harmony Score based on how likely it is to foster positive human connection. This score influences visibility in feeds and recommendations — nothing more, nothing less.

What Gets Boosted

Content that helps people connect, learn, create, and feel inspired receives greater visibility in feeds and recommendations.

  • Helpful content that answers questions and solves problems
  • Educational content that teaches something valuable
  • Creative work — music, art, photography, writing
  • Positive communities built around shared interests
  • Music, art, pets, travel, hobbies, and healthy discussions

What Gets Reduced Visibility

Content primarily designed to create conflict, spread negativity, or exploit outrage receives reduced visibility. It is not removed — it simply appears less often in recommendations.

  • Spam and repetitive low-quality content
  • Personal attacks and targeted harassment
  • Repeated toxic behavior patterns
  • Content designed primarily to create conflict

We Do Not Censor

We do not automatically remove content based on disagreement or unpopular opinions. We use ranking, weighting, recommendations, and visibility adjustments — not suppression. Different viewpoints are welcome here.

When Content Is Removed

Removals are reserved only for serious violations: harassment, threats, illegal content, or spam. Everything else stays visible — it just may not be recommended as widely.

Freedom & Connection

WhisperLayer is a place for freedom, creativity, friendship, communities, music, pets, travel, hobbies, and genuine human connection. Our ranking system exists to amplify those values — not to police them.
